DOVELAND STARS VICE PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

THANK YOU ALL!!
It's been a great school year with loads of
amazing, challenging and exciting
events/ activities to show for it.
Together we have learned much and
shared beautiful experiences that
will forever remain with us for a
lifetime; a story to tell someday.

There's no reason to look back when you have so much to look forward to.

Today, one phase and journey has ended, you still have
many more to face as you move upwards, to yet another
stage, another level, another chapter of your life. Two
strong tools you need are PERSERVERANCE AND
SUCCESS.
This is because you need to continually persevere at every
task set before you to succeed in life. Don't ever give up; as MS. CHINYERE ANYANWU
some would say, don't ever chicken out!! You must always look VICE PRINCIPAL AMINISTRATION AND STUDENTS LIFE
towards that prize which for you is the next year group, the
next position.
Do you want to be a Prefect? Do you want to be the best in your class and there is failure in a subject?
All you need to do is to work harder, persevere, forge ahead and you shall succeed.
You must work hard, even when you fail, persevere so that success becomes your trophy.
Someone once said, “Failure is not an option”, this should be your mantra for life.
When I look at the future, it's so bright it burns my eyes.

This session couldn't have been a huge success without the tireless effort and commitment of some
people, so I want to say a big THANK YOU, to my team.
My hearty appreciation goes to all staff and students' of DHS, who have made this ride a jolly one for
us all, especially the fraction of staff who we most often times forget but who are equally phenomenal
and a huge part of the school life.
I am speaking of the Transport officers, Housekeepers, Facility and Maintenance unit, Farm officer
and Security. You all are one big piece of the whole and I truly want to appreciate you. Thank you very
much.

To all our Parents, thank you for entrusting your child into our care. Thank you for ensuring they get
to school on time. For attending to every communication, meetings etc. Thank you for partnering with
us to sustain all our goals and targets which we had for this session.
Thank you for standing by us in providing rich, engaging and well-rounded experiences for our
students; your children, thereby aiding to indeed transform them into ebullient exploring leaders.
I look forward to seeing all Doveland Stars at the High school come September, for the 2018/2019
academic session.
Enjoy your summer holiday as much as you can because……. Guess what? You're coming back to school
sooner than you can ever imagine to start yet another phase.
Always remember to be kind to people.
