2019 New Vocations All-Thoroughbred Charity Horse Show & T.I.P. Championships
309. Chizzy B Hunter Classic – Riders must have shown in at least two (2) hunter or equitation classes at the show (warm-up classes excluded). Exhibitor’s fence height to be determined by the highest division competed in as a horse- and-rider combination on Friday or Saturday. The class is a two-round format. The top 15 scores will return for a second round; final placings will be determined by the culmination of both scores. The class will be conducted using three fence heights, but it will be pinned as one class. There is no jog. The class is based on performance, hunter pace, jumping style, quality, substance and movement. Fence heights: crossrails, 2’0” and 2’3”. Classes: #309A (crossrails), #309B (2’0”) and #309C (2’3”).
Crossrails Equitation – Open to any Junior or Adult Amateur rider who has never shown at a canter over a course of fences 2’0” or higher. Riders must ride a Thoroughbred. Trotting is not penalized. Cantering is permitted on the flat in small groups of 5 or less. Fence height: 18”. Horses not eligible to jump over 2’0”. Classes: 310, 311
Equitation 12 and Under – Open to any rider age 12 and under riding a Thoroughbred. Riders not eligible to jump over 2’0”. Fence height 2’0”.
Classes: 312, 313
Open 2’3” Equitation – Open to any Junior and Adult Amateur riders on a Thoroughbred. Riders not eligible to jump over 2’3”. Fence height 2’3”.
Classes: 314, 315
Intermediate Child/Adult Equitation 2’6” – Open to any Junior or Adult Amateur rider on a Thoroughbred. Fence height 2’6”. Classes: 316, 317
2’9” Equitation – Open to any Junior or Adult Amateur rider on a Thoroughbred. Fence height 2’9”. Classes: 318, 319
Stonelea Ring (Halter, Pleasure & Western)
400. Fresh Off the Track Walk/Trot – Open to Thoroughbreds that raced in 2019. Judged on manners and way of going at the walk and trot. Horses not eligible to jump over 2’0”.
401. Senior English Pleasure Division – Open to any Thoroughbred. Judged on manners and way of going at the walk, trot and canter. Division consists of a W/T and W/T/C class. Judge will evaluate turnout and may inquire as to race history, with minor blemishes and faults not considered. Horses not eligible to jump over 2’0”.
402. Junior English Pleasure Division – Open to any Thoroughbred. Judged on manners and way of going at the walk, trot and canter. Judge will evaluate turnout and may inquire as to race history, with minor blemishes and faults not considered. Horses not eligible to jump over 2’0”.
403. Showmanship – Open to any Thoroughbred. Horses to be shown in well- fitted halter or bridle. Will perform a set pattern to be posted at least one hour before the class commences. The class is based on exhibitor’s ability to fit and present a horse, as well as on his or her ability to quickly and efficiently perform the pattern.
404/414. Walk/Trot Division – Open to any Thoroughbred. Horses to be shown at the walk and trot. To be judged on manners, suitability of horse to rider and performance. Consists of three classes: Walk/ Trot Pleasure, Walk/Trot Equitation and Walk/Trot Hunter Hack, where horses will be asked to individually jump two crossrails set in a line. Fence height: 18”. Horses not eligible to jump over 2’0”.
405/415. Walk/Trot/Canter Division – Open to any Thoroughbred. Horses tobe shown both ways of the ring at the walk, trot and canter. To be judged on manners, suitability of horse to rider and performance. Consists of three classes: Walk/Trot/Canter Pleasure, Walk/Trot/Canter Equitation and Walk/Trot/Canter Hunter Hack, where horses will be asked to individually jump two jumps set in a line. Trotting jumps and simple changes of lead will not be penalized. Fence height: 2’. Horses not eligible to jump over 2’3”.
406/420. Western Division Junior - Division 406
