The integration of 4IR in schools…..

4IR is the current and developing

environment in which
disruptive technologies and trends such

as the Internet of Things, robotics, virtual
reality and artificial intelligence are

changing the way we live and work.

With the new technologies being introduced into
our lives, the teaching methods used by teachers
change on the daily basis to make learning
relatable and exciting. For example, WhatsApp

groups can be used by teachers to connect with
learners outside the school environment,
reminder learners about work that is due.

Also, we cannot forget that fourth industrial is not only about technology, it is about the changes that

the new teachers bring into schools. The new teaching approaches, ensuring that learning is exciting
and learners relate everything they learn to the real life situations.
