Feathers in my Cap WORLD GOLD COUNCIL DESIGN COMPETITION
For 8 long years, I did not participate in
any design competition due to some
professional restraints. Then in 2000, I
AWARDS, TRIVIA & CITATIONS joined this WGC Design contest just to know if I
still have that “feel” to put on paper my artistic
sense. I placed 3rd and gained in the process the
recognition of being the only non-Arab to have
won in this particular design contest, considering
my limited knowledge of the main
theme of the competition, the Arabic-
