Your favourite piece carved by Hape Kiddle? What happens if I get that carrot?
                                                               I’m lost for life!

                I haven’t made it yet. That’s why
I’m not attached to anything I make, Best tip for other carvers?
because I never made one that
I consider my favourite. If you want to learn to carve

                                                               everything else is irrelevant.
Does that mean you’re never satisfied If you want to learn to carve,
with your work? carve! Everything takes time.

That’s part of it. But what drives me
comes back to that zen practice, that Hape Kiddle’s studio is in Griffith,
I haven’t made it yet. It’s like having NSW and he sometimes teaches
that piece of cake in front of you, workshops. He has exhibited
you really want to eat it but someone widely and is currently working

keeps it on a rope. I’m a classic on a large commission for the National
donkey chasing a carrot situation. Museum of Canberra.
