Redesign and change

Due to the constant and fast changes we experience with

technology and its ecosystems, schools need to adapt rapidly to

contribute towards the needs of the students’ futures. To move
away from teaching specific standards and promote learning of

skills based on standards such as citizenship, responsibility,
               problem solving.

Reconstructing lesson plans from specific outcomes and

timeframes to flexible and extended learning beyond the

school, constant developments in lined with society,

communities and technologies. Not teaching to a class but the

               individual.

Differences can be made by making small changes such as

shifting from traditional assessments to letting students do

analyzing data/content and determine their own assessment

standards. Change classroom management from being teacher

centered (Teacher give instructions and students follow) to

student centered (Students explore, learn from mistakes and

draw conclusions – teacher provides supportive role) and

promoting collaboration. Teachers need to mobilize students

by blending content with technologies. This will contribute to

extending learning to beyond the school.
