                                                Bachelor of Science in Information Technology



                                                                                                   Level III Phase II

                                                         SET GOALS

               The School of Engineering and Technology aims to produce competent professionals equipped
               with technical skills that meet the demands of the ASEAN community.

                                                      BSIT OBJECTIVES
                The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) program has the
               following objectives:

                       a.  Equip the graduates with competence in the field of computing and
                           systems installation, operation, development, maintenance and
                           administration.

                       b.  Develops students’ skills in designing and developing technological
                           solutions for information needs of industry, government and academe.

                       c.  Enhances students’ technical and academic capabilities through
                           research and development involvement and participation in
                           community and extension activities.

                       d.  Advances students’ personal and interpersonal skills.


                       B. Scope and Priority Areas of Research and Development

                       The research priorities of JHCSC are in line with its thrusts and programs. The Research
               and Development Office continues to conduct responsive and development activities emanating
               from the actual needs of the target clientele through a more intensive research program that is
               geared towards contributing to poverty alleviation and promoting rapid economic growth in the
               region and in Mindanao.

               The school shall consider and adopt the following research priorities in the formulation of the
               research and development agenda:
