                       5.2 CATALOGER DUTIES

                          5.2.1  Maintains  and  edits  the  College  Library  collections  in  the

                          integrated  library  system  used  (InfoLib  System)  and  KOHA

                          Integrated Library System for thesis collections;
                          5.2.2 Catalog undergraduate theses submitted to the library;

                          5.2.3 Prepare books and periodicals for binding;

                          5.2.4 Catalog all books and other resources received.

                       5.3 COLLECTION DEVELOPMENT DUTIES
                          5.3.1. Utilizes academic resources to select materials for the relevant

                          collections to fulfill the instructional and research needs of the college

                          community;
                          5.3.2 Prepares purchase requests of all library materials and seek for

                          approval  from  the  Library  Advisory  Committee  and  Submit  to  the

                          President for final approval;

                       5.4 REFERENCE LIBRARIAN

                              5.4.1  Reference  librarian  plays  an  important  role  in  the  daily
                              operations of a library.

                              5.4.2 Must provide assistance to library users in finding resources

                              and how to efficiently use the library. She has knowledge on a
                              wide range of topics.

                              5.4.3 The reference librarian helps the student find the needed

                              research materials and;

                              5.4.4 Recommends other resources that may be available, such
                              as  a  CD-ROMs,  e.books,  e.journals  or  websites  useful  for  their

                              research activities.

                       5.5 CIRCULATION ASSISTANT

                              5.5.1 The Circulation Assistant works under the direct supervision
                              of  the  College  Librarian  and  assumes  responsibility  for  routine

                              tasks using basic and established procedures;

                              5.5.2  Demonstrates  effective  job  knowledge;  demonstrates
                              initiative and motivation in performance of job responsibilities.

                              5.5.3 Handle circulation transactions;
