Daniel Niemann
Mr. Niemann has provided executive leadership of major real estate developments for over 29 years. He is experienced in all facets of the real estate development business: acquisitions, planning, design, construction, entitlements, nancing, and governmental and community relations. In roles of owner, general partner, and owner’s representative, Mr. Niemann has managed several of the largest projects in Southern California, leading a team of professionals and consultants to create billion-dollar projects; Central City West, 2000 Avenue of the Stars, The Beverly Hilton and Bakers eld Commons. He is skilled in managing teams of attorneys, architects, engineers, contractors and consultants to strategize and implement comprehensive
plans to realize the highest and best use of strategic properties. He has successfully harnessed and focused the talents of the best people in the business in a team environment. With extensive experience in successful negotiations with governmental agencies and community stakeholders to enhance property entitlements to provide quality projects and economic growth, Mr. Niemann has successfully executed dozens of projects, millions of square feet of buildings and billions of dollars of construction from high rise of ce, residential and hotel towers to affordable housing, historical adaptive re-use and public-private ventures. Clients/Partners include JP Morgan, AT&T and GM Pension Funds, World Oil Company, The Beverly Hilton Hotel, City of Los Angeles, Fortress Investment Group, O’Melveny & Myers, Price Waterhouse, Olympia & York, Related Companies and Trammell Crow Company. Mr. Niemann received his B.S. in Engineering from the University of Southern California. He has served on many charity boards and foundations including The Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Little Company of Mary Hospital and The California Museum Foundation. His community activities include president of Lunada Little League and coaching Pop Warner Football for 15 years, including 2 national championship nalists.
Sarah Jensen, AIA
Ms. Jensen is president of Jensen + Partners, specializing in healthcare strategy planning and project implementation. She was previously VP Engineering and Operations Services at Amgen, Inc. As UCLA Assistant Vice Chancellor, Health Sciences Design and Construction, Ms. Jensen oversaw the $5 billion renovation of the University Medical Campus. She was also previously Director of Facilities Design, Hewlett Packard. Ms. Jensen holds a Master of Architecture from UCLA and a B.A. from Amherst College. She is a licensed Contractor, member of the American Institute of Architects, and Registered Architect, State of California.
