Chris Higgins
Chris Higgins was previously managing director of Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors and was responsible for sourcing transactions and developing client relationships for the rm. Prior to joining Kayne Anderson, Mr. Higgins was Co- founder and Managing Director of a boutique investment bank dedicated to assisting middle market companies in raising capital, providing merger and acquisitions services, and general nancial consulting. During the past 20 years of managing his own company he acted as interim CFO for companies experiencing nancial dif culties. Mr. Higgins was previously at Security Paci c National Bank where he gained experience as the Chief Credit Of cer of the Corporate Bank,
and Manager of SecPac’s LBO activities in California. Mr. Higgins has served on several boards for both private and not-for-pro t rms. Mr. Higgins received his B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
John Callaghan
John Callaghan has a breadth of land development management experience including forward planning, entitlement, and backbone infrastructure construction, having previously worked for J.F. Shea Company. As Project Manager for the company’s homebuilding assets in Ventura, CA, John has successfully overseen large-scale jurisdictional approval efforts and subsequent land improvements for numerous communities throughout Southern California. Direct construction background experience includes design, value engineering, contract negotiation, supply chain creation, and nancing – with further involvement in managing cycle times and ensuring on-time, quality delivery. Mr. Callaghan holds Masters degrees
in Real Estate Development, and Business Administration from the University of Southern California. Additionally he holds an undergraduate degree in International Relations from USC – where he was an Academic All-American, member of the Trojan golf team, and fraternity president. John is a Licensed CA Real Estate Broker, Licensed General Contractor, and LEED AP. He spends his free time coaching his alma mater CIF Champion Loyola High School’s golf team.
Scott Hildebrandt, PE
Scott Hildebrandt, is widely known as a market leader for regional and county agency clients, as well as for commercial and industrial developers, with speci c expertise in various aspects of large planning and design services. Scott’s broad knowledge of the engineering industry enables him to oversee educational, recreational, healthcare, and commercial/industrial facility projects. He specializes in large complex projects where attention to detail is critical, and is known as a trusted advisor in the design of projects that intersect multiple market sectors. Scott has helped provide more than 14,000 residents of the private Canyon Lake Community with parks, infrastructure, and a 40-plus mile roadway system in his
role as Corporate Engineer for the Property Owners Association. He has planned and designed hundreds of major public infrastructure projects including transportation, sewer and water systems, storm drains, and utility tunnels. Cultivating close relationships with local, state and federal regulatory agencies, he understands how to expedite approvals from multiple agencies to effectively advance projects.
