P. 7

MarchLife California has engaged HOK, a global design, architecture, engineering and planning rm to create, develop and execute the master plan vision for the MarchLife California Campus. The project Master Plot Plan (MPP) was recorded with
Riverside County in 2013. The plan
was then successfully defended against an environmental legal challenge in 2014, which created project delays – but ultimately created the opportunity at hand. The JPA offers a streamlined in-house ministerial approval process, which requires no city, county or state approvals for building permits.
MarchLife California is already under construction with a 405 room veteran facility and a 165- bed behavioral health facility.
The overwhelming governmental support of MarchLife California by local, county, state and federal authorities is driven largely by the fact that this project creates a massive economic force, supporting continued growth and employment in Riverside County. There is overwhelming demand for the project, and this is widely recognized.
