Tis the Season Ohio’s largest year ‘round Christmas shop offers three floors of Christmas Get ready for a truly enchanting experience as we visit The Season, Ohio’s largest year-round Christmas shop, where holiday magic fills the air no matter the time of year. This unique store is housed in a round building, adding to its charm and wonder. You’ll enter through a log cabin made of real logs, complete with a working fireplace that immediately makes you feel at home. As you wander through the store, you’ll discover an array of decorations that evoke nostalgia, along with special gifts and ornaments perfect for everyone on your list—whether it’s for your favorite teacher, pastor, doctor, or grandchildren. On the lower level, you’ll find yourself walking through a forest of trees ranging from 2’ to 12’ tall, showcasing a variety of festive displays. Be sure to stop by the Bethlehem Inn, where you’ll find the nativity set you’ve been searching for. After some time to explore and shop, we’ll enjoy an included lunch, followed by visits to Walnut Creek Foods and Heini’s Cheese Chalet, where you can indulge in local treats and fresh, delicious cheese. We begin our day with a visit to Root Candle in Medina, OH, a family-owned business that’s been crafting what they call the best candles in America since 1869. Now in its fifth generation, they continue the tradition of carefully handcrafting each candle to ensure the highest quality. Next, we head to the Corkscrew Saloon for lunch. Built in the 1850s, this historic saloon is the second oldest building in Medina. Our final stop is the highlight of the day—Castle Noel. Home to the world’s largest privately owned collection of Hollywood Christmas movie props and costumes, it showcases items from beloved films like The Grinch, Elf, Santa Claus The Movie, Fred Claus, The Santa Clause 1, 2 & 3, Jingle All The Way, A Christmas Carol, Deck the Halls, and more. Castle Noel also features some of New York City’s iconic Christmas windows from Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale’s, Lord & Taylor, and Macy’s.
