OLGEBAY FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS
The Oglebay Festival of Lights, which began in 1985, has become one of the largest holiday light displays in the nation, drawing over a million visitors each year, including thousands of tour buses from across the United States. Our visit kicks off with a stop at the Hilltop Shops and Gardens, where you can browse unique shops and enjoy the beautiful surroundings, followed by a tour of the Mansion Museum. Next, we’ll take a self-guided tour of the Glass Museum, enjoy a dazzling laser light show, and experience the Winter Fantasy at the Good Zoo. Afterward, we’ll head to Wilson Lodge for a festive holiday dinner show. To cap off the day, we’ll board the bus with a Step-On Guide to view the breathtaking light displays. The show is even more enchanting as glowing candles light the walkways, and you’ll be surrounded by the beauty of decorated fir trees, whimsical props, and the luminous Winter Light Garden, which is aglow with artful LED lights, colorful poinsettias, trees, and fountains. It’s a breathtaking sight that captures the essence of the season.
