15 mins To do a role-play of a Bus ride: put chairs in rows like on a Chairs, tickets
real situation, to bus, choose a “driver” who sits at
practise phrases and to the front, then all the “passengers”
sing the song, practising get on the bus, saying “one ticket
bus vocabulary please”. The driver steers the bus
and everyone sings “The wheels on
the bus”. The bus comes to a stop
and the passengers all get off,
saying “thank you” to the driver.
3 mins To do a quiet activity, Sing “Open, shut them” three
practising the song times, getting quieter each time
