Israel: Colored metal participation pin of the 1957 Arms Expo held in Haifa; size: 25 x 25.25mm; weight: 1.3g. With safety-pin back. The expo was one of the clear
signs of jubilation in Israel following her victory in the October 1956 Sinai Campaign: the expo displayed various weapons used by the IDF in its successful campaign as
well as captured Egyptian stocks. The expo opened on 29 April in Beit Dagan but moved to Haifa on 20 May and ended a month later; 70,000 people attended. The event's
emblem incorporates the IDF emblem.

reference Haifa, and is probably from the first part of the Expo which was held in Beit Dagan from 29 April to 20 May. This issue has a coarse dotted
background; another issue of the type has a smooth background.
