the period's correct printed matter rate, the cover wasn't so identified, and therefore taxed as a regular letter).

TLV-87 delivery; unsealed as per pm regulations. Est value $50+

1980 domestic taxed mail during currency transition: 11-11-1980 cover ex HAIFA to TLV franked 3Li using 1971 Landscape definitive Ba543 during
DO-27 period, but as this only half the letter rate (whether in Lira or Shekel), cover taxed: marked by "missing postage notice attached" cachet on front and
actual notice stapled at back (presumably for twice the missing amount, 0.30 Shekels). Still sealed.
