returned to sender with sender taxation notice stapled at back, requesting additional franking of twice the deficiency in order to complete timely delivery of
the letter - unpaid; cover still sealed.

1960 domestic 'top of the pile' taxed franking: 1-2-60 printed matter commercial cover ex TLV branch of Idud Ltd. franked 6 Ag at the DO-9 period PM rate using 1960 Provisional Ba181 but
returned to sender as address unknown (cachet on back, manuscript on front); as envelope is printed at base "in case of wrong address please return the letter - payment is guaranteed", this letter and
all others to same addressee returned together with total tax calculated and applied to one of the covers placed at the top of the pile - here, charged 30 Agorot (marked by scarce TLV sorting office
cachet), the 6 Ag return fee (same as the sending fee) for 5 letters and paid for using 0.30L 1960 Provisional Ba186 frank tied by single strike of 10-2-60 TLV pmk. Est. value $75+
