Lisa Kek, OT at the Saint John Regional Hospital had the opportunity last month to present on two panels at the AAHS meetings in Phoenix Arizona. Her panel talks were: 1) Wide Awake Hand Surgery 101: a therapists perspective and 2) How Wide Awake Hand Surgery is changing tendon rehabilitation. She also had the opportunity to be a part of a working group with the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOTs) on a position statement for Occupational Therapy's role in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. The Saint John Hand Therapy Interest group did not meet this month
