Recruitment:
Kristen MacDonald, Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist have joined the Division of Hand Therapy of the Roth- McFarlane Hand and Upper Limb Centre. She has
transitioned from our in-patient services to our Hand Therapy Program. Kristen completed a 4- month Hand Therapy Fellowship within our clinic in 2013. We are very happy to have her join our team.

and India, Shrikant
Chinchalkar has retired. He has worked with some wonderful physicians, surgeons and academics including Dr.’s Paul Brand, Robert Salter, Robert McFarlane and Graham King. Shrikant has been an invited presenter countless times at various National and International Conferences over his career. He has been an invited presenter at the Annual ASHT Meetings for over 20 consecutive years and has presented many times at various CSHT Meetings. He has numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals on various facets of hand and upper extremity surgery and rehabilitation.
His contribution to the Hand Therapy profession is countless and he will be forever missed by his colleagues at the Roth-McFarlane Hand and Upper Limb Centre. We are very happy to announce that Shrikant has accepted a casual position within our Facility so he can continue to provide some hand therapy services as well as educate medical students, residents, surgical and hand therapy Fellows.
Juliana Larocerie of the Roth– McFarlane Hand and Upper Limb Centre is presenting at the Brachial Plexus Surgery and Rehabilitation Latin American Conference taking place on February 28 – March 3, 2018 in Mexico.
She is presenting: Therapeutic Management of Nerve Transfers in the Upper Extremity. Dr. Douglas Ross of the Roth–McFarlane Hand and Upper Limb Centre is also presenting at this Meeting on the topic: Nerve Transfers for Ulnar Nerve Neuropathies ; Application of EMG Biofeedback Post Nerve Transfer.
Shrikant Chinchalkar of the Roth-McFarlane Hand and Upper Limb Centre is presenting a 1 hour instructional course at the upcoming Annual CSHT Meeting titled: Treatment of the Stiff Hand.
