Pier Facilities
Berthing at Pier and Slipway
Berthing at the pier is only possible with prior permission from the Harbourmaster. If berthing at the pier, vessels must be secured using the bollards provided. Please do not attach any ropes to pier fenders or ladders.
The slipway is currently the safest place for yacht tenders to come ashore. Tenders must be taken out of the water and placed on the slipway beside the refuse skips. The slip is used throughout the day by RIBs, tourist boats and the doctor’s boat.
Tenders found tied to the slip will be moved by the Harbourmaster.
Services Available
* Toilet and Waiting Room at pier
* Shower and toilet available adjacent to the farm buildings at ‘The Square’
* 3 skips are provided; refuse, glass recycling, and cardboard and plastic recycling. These are closed skips so please do not throw rubbish bags on top.
* Weather, tidal and ferry information displayed on Harbour Office noticeboards Unfortunately we are unable to provide fuel and gas at the harbour.
Water is often in short supply during the summer months so we are unable to allow yachts or large sailing vessels to refill tanks.
The Harbourmaster is available to answer any questions or to provide assistance as and when required.
