Fifty Years of the Super Bowl

ELimping, Peyton Manning, a moment away from forty, one of America’s
favorite heroes, came onto what was probably his last game. The cameras
focused on the new star, Cam Newton, who was chosen as MVP for the
season, and on the other side, the tired Peyton, who looked like he’s
praying for the game to end. The main problem with Peyton is that he just
lost it. The one who was once considered the best quarterback in the
league, reached old age in football terms. He’s weak, injured, and his
passes don’t go near (their) destination. But somehow, against all logic, it
was enough for him to beat Carolina. Coldplay’s concert at halftime was
cheerful; and who succeeded on the commercials section? Doritos, not for
the first time, reminded (us) that they know how to make a Super Bowl ad,
Heinz’ ketchup brought out some laughs. President Obama, who gambled
on the losers, came back for another TV appearance after the game,
Donald Trump tweeted that the Super Bowl was very boring, and it’s not
even close to be as exciting as politics. In his case, it really is hard to
argue.
