                     Shopping Like in Israel

‘Osher Ad’, the big and cheap Israeli supermarket chain, thinks that after it
conquered Be’er Sheva, Bnei Brak and Jerusalem, it can conquer New
York as well. The chain intends on establishing (its) first branch outside of
Israel. The concept of big packages for low prices isn’t new for
Americans, but what is new is that all of the food is kosher and (they)
import it from Israel. The potential is for sixty thousand families who will
come to shop at the supermarket, and about a hundred million dollars a
year that the chain can earn. Ramy Levi also wants to compete over the
American market and is thinking about opening branches in Miami and
Philadelphia.
