Building a Word Pyramid | םי ִלי ִמ ת ַ די ִמ ָרי ִּ פ תיַי ִנ ְּב

Instructions for the teacher: (please note the following two pages)
Divide the class into 3-4 groups

Photocopy the page “Word-Pyramid for Pesach” 3-4 times.
Cut out each row of the pyramid separately .Then, cut out the rows
themselves into letters, but keep each row separate .Afterwards, mix the

letters of each row (again, separately), so they are not in the correct order
(for example, ‘מ-ח-ץ').

Give each group one cut pyramid such that each pair of students within
the group gets one cut row.

The students have to ‘rebuild’ the pyramid: each pair has to place the
letters (of each row) into a word that is related to Pesach.

Then, the students have to situate the words within the pyramid according
to their length: on the top row-the shortest word, and on the bottom row-
the longest row.

The first group that finishes building the pyramid wins. The group should
also read the words out loud for the rest of the class (of course, the

teacher can also draw the ‘solved’ pyramid on the board).
