Making Aliyah from Yemen
After a long journey of a little over a year, the new immigrants from
Yemen arrive in Israel and meet their families who wait for them here.
These are seventeen people, the last of the Raydah community near
Sana’a, headed by Rabbi Sleiman Dahari. They leave everything and
arrive in Israel only with an old book of Torah, eight hundred years old.
They get ID cards and meet with the Prime Minister. Now they need to
start getting used to life in Israel.
