A True Hero
Up until one year ago Elad couldn’t move (away) from the hospital, today
he’s making a dream come true and playing soccer. It all started when Elad
was six years old, when one morning he just couldn’t get out of bed. The
doctors thought at first it was mononucleosis, but only after three years
found out that Elad has [lit. sick with] a rare lymphoma cancer that only
thirteen other people in the world have. A year ago Elad beat the cancer,
but then came another painful blow, a rare autoimmune disease. But Elad
didn’t intend on losing this war either, and last week on his twelfth
birthday made his dream of playing soccer again come true.
