In Line for Falafel
Actor 1: Excuse me, is there good falafel here?
Actor 2: “Excuse me”? You’re not Israeli, huh?
Actor 1: No, I’m from America…
Actor 2: Do you live in America?
Actor 1: No, now I live in Israel. I’m a new immigrant. And you?
Actor 2: I’m also not Israeli…
Actor 1: Are you a new immigrant or a tourist?
Actor 2: I am a tourist from England. Do you work in Israel?
Actor 1: I don’t work, I’m a soldier now.
Actor 2: A soldier? Wow!
Actor 1: Yeah, and you? What do you work in?
Actor 2: I am a bus driver.
Actor 1: Really? There are no (female) bus drivers in Israel. Wow!
Actor 2: What, a (female) bus driver is not good? Are you a
chauvinist?
Actor 1: Are you kidding? It’s excellent! I am a feminist!
Actor 2: Oh, good. If you are a feminist, I want to invite you (out)
for falafel. Do you want?
Actor 1: Sure! I am a very happy feminist today…
