Diary of a Wimpy Kid

Hundreds of kids stood in line in Tel Aviv two weeks ago, in order to meet
author Jeff Kinney, the one who wrote the ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid’ books
and came to Israel to launch his eleventh book. The hero of the book,
Greg, a student in school, a wimp who gets into a lot of trouble. Jeff
Kinney, an American father of two, is a wimp himself, and as a boy
wanted to be a caricaturist. Nine years ago he started to write an illustrated
book, and the rest is history. (You) no longer have to be an athlete or the
class queen, thanks to Kinney’s books even wimps became very popular.
Last year ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid’ even passed the sales of the queen of
children’s books – J.K. Rowling who wrote Harry Potter.
