Situations: That's Life – Unit 1
Act out from English.
1 We have three children.
2 The eldest daughter is sixteen, the middle child is twelve and the youngest
child is ten.
3 The relationship between us and the kids is open and warm.
The two boys share a room and the eldest daughter has a separate room.
4 Lately we've noticed that the eldest daughter closes her bedroom door.
5 She is the only one of the family members who closes her bedroom door. This
hurts me (my feelings), and I feel as if she has secrets that she’s keeping from
us, and as if she is not part of the family.
6 One day, I opened her door and came in.
7 My daughter was lying on her bed and reading a book.
8 She got angry at me and told me that next time I want to come into her room,
I should knock on the door first.
9 Her answer insulted me and I went out of the room.
10 I don't know if I should talk to her about the issue, and if she behaves as she
should.
