Rahmo's Restaurant

Rivkah – Rachamim's wife knew how to cook a very tasty food,
and Rachamim liked to let people eat from Rivkah's food. Many
people told Rachamim to open a restaurant with Rivkah's food. In
the 50's, Rachamim and Rivkah opened a restaurant near Mahane
Yehuda market.
In the restaurant, Rivkah cooked rice with bean, kubbeh soup,
hummus, mejaddara and other tasty foods.
The food in the restaurant was very cheap, and many laborers came
to eat in the restaurant. The restaurant was a laborer restaurant with
simple chairs and tables. The food was cooked all night on
kerosene burners.
Rachamim had a good heart and when he saw old, sick or poor
people, he gave them food for free.
Rachmo has already died, but his restaurant "Rahmo's Restaurant"
is very popular, and nowadays people from all over Israel come to
eat in the restaurant.
