Shira: And what if the teacher
will be boring? And what
if she asks questions and I
won’t answer?

Dad: The teacher won't be boring.
She will ask interesting
questions and you will answer
all the questions nicely,
because you will be the
smartest girl in class. So now
you have nothing to worry about.

Shira: Actually I do! We haven't
bought a back pack and
books yet. When will we
buy everything?

Dad: What are you worried
about? Tomorrow we will
go into town and we will
buy you all the books and
notebooks. On Tuesday you
and mom will buy a bag
pack together, and I will
buy you a diary.

Shira: But you will buy the
prettiest diary you'll see…
promise?

Dad: Promise! So you'll have a
diary, you will have books
and notebooks, you will
have a nice teacher and you
will have friends. I think
that you will have a really
good time in first grade!

Shira: I think so too. And if not,
so I will be a little sick and
stay at home. That sure
will be fun!
