Palestine Israel

At the heart of the market there is a magical store. If you don’t
take a good look you can easily miss it, but ‘Palestine Israel’ is
not a store one should miss. Parking outside sometimes is a
yellow motorcycle with a sidecar - a collector’s item. It will help
you find the place. Many secrets of the land of Israel before the
state was established hide in a small room. All of the items in
the store were made before [the year of] 1948. There are British
army uniforms here and old maps that teach us how much the
land has changed. When you come in here you discover a piece
of history, and suddenly feel (like you’re) in another world. You
can better understand what was once here, without cellphones
and iPads… here for example, are beautiful old typewriters; fans
made of iron; rare old cameras - all of which still work!
Professionals would be able to find many treasures here: ancient
medical equipment for doctors, army helmet and jacket from the
war of liberation for soldiers, a telescope for astronauts… this
isn’t just a store, it’s also a gallery for the past. It’s interesting to
think of the life there used to be here, and maybe take some of
them home with us. There’s only one thing you can’t forget -
everything is expensive here… apparently history isn’t cheap.
