General Structure

Infinitive Form

The sound pattern of Binyan Pi’el in the infinitive form is:

LE…A…E…

(E)…A…E… are the core sound pattern vowels

Example:

to speak – ‫ְל ַד ֵבר‬

Present Tense

‫ל‬In the present tense the first letter - of the infinitive is replaced by
‫מ‬.

The sound pattern remains the same.

Example: To speak – ‫ְל ַד ֵבר‬

‫רבות‬ ‫רבים‬ ‫נקבה‬ ‫זכר‬
