Compound Sentence





                     A compound sentence has at least two

                     independent clauses that have related ideas. It is

                     made up of two or more simple sentences joined

                     with a conjunction. The coordinating

                     conjunctions are used to connect two clauses.

                     There are seven conjunctions: for, and, nor, but,

                     or, yet, so (FANBOYS).



                     I go to the library, for I love books (I go to the library

                     because I love books.). The tree diagram of this
