COLOUR RUNS WITH A CAUSE
COL OUR R UNS WITH A CA USE
In December, our wonderful P&F
organised Colour Runs for the Senior
and Junior Schools and, with the arrival
of beautiful summer sun and with School
spirits high, the events were a perfect way
to start the countdown to the summer
holidays.
Thank you to the many parent volunteers
who organised and/or assisted at these
events - one suspects that they rather
enjoyed the ‘target practice’; no doubt
more than the laundry chores that
followed!
The Senior Event was managed by the
students in Deane House and was a
very successful fundraiser for various
charities and causes. The School captains
supported the White Ribbon Foundation,
the Performing Arts captains supported
Moogahlin Performing Arts company,
the Sustainability captains supported the
Blue Mountains Conservation Society,
the Learning/Wild Ed captains fundraised
for outdoor learning equipment, and the
Rugby captain raised money for the NZ
Rugby tour that is scheduled for 2024.
Great fun was had by all, and it was the
perfect way to round out an exciting, busy
and successful school year!
