Re: East Allen’s County’s Application for Indiana Regional Stellar Communities Designation

Dear Lieutenant Governor Crouch:

We fully support NewAllen Alliance’s Stellar Application, believing that the projects they have outlined
could be transformative for the communities of Allen County.
In our assignment to promote the visitor assets of Allen County, we see the need for improvement,
design and marketing in our communities, and we think the quality of place initiatives outlined by the
NewAllen Alliance would greatly improve the quality of place in our region. We appreciate the
collaborative, thoughtful effort being put into the development of East Allen County, and support their
pursuit of funding to make it a reality.

These projects would definitely increase the quality of life for Allen County residents, but would also
provide very appealing rural tourism opportunities for our region.

It is our intention to partner with the region as we develop a tourism, marketing and brand strategy, and
we support the work of the NewAllen Alliance to make Allen County a better place to visit, as well as
live.
