First Day of School

In 2014, members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Athens Board of Directors cre- 8/14/17
ated a coalition of local businesses to help support Club members in grades
6-9 start high school track. This coalition became known as the Athens Busi-
ness Coalition, and the dedicated programing became known as Graduate Day For Kids
Great. As many as 95% of students who start high school on track will gradu- 9/16/17
ate within four years, as opposed to only 52% of students starting behind.
Club Celebration
Our local clubs are proud to announce that since the beginning of the Grad-
uate Great program and the Athens Business Coalition, 94% of our members
in the inaugural class have started highschool on track to graduate in four Summer Soiree
years. We are very greatful to the coalition and the community for helping us 9/21/17
change lives and inspire our youth to achieve success.
