On December 17, 2017, Randall Finnegan, of the Randall Finnegan Auction House,
proceeded to an auction to benefit the Betty Riel Foundation. This event raised $16,000 for
the Foundation, which helps pay for transportation services for cancer patients who need to The Southwest News

Among the many items that were auctioned off were tickets to a Montreal Canadiens
hockey game, a hockey stick that was autographed by Maurice “The Rocket” Richard, a
limited-edition lithography by Paul Tex Lecor, furniture, dishes, and a 5000 Btu generator.
This event was such a success, it will probably become a yearly fundraising activity. n
