also a tribute to one of the great Masters of
the Baroque.

The painting is made with oil on canvas in
the same proportions as the work of
Rubens, but enlarged by a factor of 1.6. It
measures 226 X 295 cm, dimensions that
the artist believed needed to have a strong
visual and emotional impact on the
spectator .n
