MW: When you were first getting Syteria together did you have fixed ideas about the sound you
wanted or is that something that has naturally come about over time?

Jax: Yes, I’d written a lot of songs as that’s something I love doing and none of them really suited the
Girlschool sound. When I demoed the songs. I sang a lot of harmonies on them and wanted to recreate
that as best as possible. Julia and Pablo, being siblings, grew up singing together and so their harmonies
were spot on, too, which was an added bonus and really gave the songs even more layers.

MW: How would you describe Syteria's sound?

Julia Vocal: Syteria is a mixture of rock, pop, and punk, with catchy guitar riffs, powerful vocals, and driving
rhythms. We absolutely love playing with those vocal harmonies. They're like our secret sauce for making
tunes that stick in your head and make you sing along.

Jax: I’d say we have something very different here as we record at 432hz as opposed to 440hz that
everyone else records at. We also have a crossover of so many styles, we have rock, punk, and power.
Some of the reviews even say there’s some Ska in there too…something for everyone.

MW: What has the feedback been like for the new album?
