MH: Here’s a kind of odd question…I know how the Chico brothers met, but as a band, how did you
          all meet?

LAV: Well, we have known each other for years from previous projects. We have 3 blood brothers in the band
(Michael, Daniel, and Mark Chico), so, their history is as deep as it can get.

MH: You guys have a new song that just dropped, ‘$kynet.’ Tell us about the song.

LAV: Yeah! We recorded this over with Ryan Daminson at Studio Goest. The song really emphasizes the
importance of how we have been taken advantage of and the decisions of our government. Will lead us down
a dark path if we continue to value profits over people.

MH: What's the craziest thing that's happened on any of your shows?

LAV: Everything was crazy when we played Insane Clown Posse’s Gathering of the Juggalos! The whole
event is wild and every time you looked anywhere something wild would be going on. No police, no security,
people throwing dildos on stage and then getting used. Just wild, wild stuff!

MH: Do you follow a process or ritual before a performance to get rid of nerves or performance
          anxiety?

LAV: We just vibe out. Get in the zone. We each have our little things…maybe like a little stretch or a shot of
whiskey before we play, but overall, just vibing with the show and people get us there.

MH: What do you all like to do outside of music that contributes to your music, band?

LAV: We all contribute in different ways via marketing or networking. Michael handles our in-house recording
and Chuck does the majority of the marketing.

MH: How do you feel about the internet in the music business?

LAV: Well, it ain't the same as it was before, that's for sure. It’s necessary, though, and especially during this
COVID time we made sure to take advantage of the down time to build our brand online. It is an amazing
          way to reach new people.

MH: You guys ‘old school’ (vinyl, cassettes) or ‘new school’ (MP3's, WAV, music streaming)?

LAV: A little of everything. We do love some vinyl, though. You can check out Michael doing vinyl reviews on
          our IG often.

MH: With venues starting to open up, what does the future look like for Like A Villain?

LAV: Bright and bloody! We got a great path carved for us and are ready to battle our way further.

MH: Any last inspirational words to your music fans?

LAV: We the people only have each other. Pick your brother or sister up when they fall. Support each other
and nurture each other’s growth. We live in a microwave society and it's easy to get lost in the fold. Stay
diligent and look out for one another.
