MH: What advice would you give bands hoping to follow in your footsteps?

Erik Stupka: Advice I would give to any up-and-coming bands or people wanting to follow in our
footsteps is to honestly follow what you love and don't give up. Although it sounds cliche, through
the years, I've been in lots of other bands before having the amazing opportunity to be in Brace
Yourself. But by following my love for music and drumming and live shows, I stuck through a lot of
ups and downs, some so bad to the point I almost put down the sticks for good. But if you find the
right like-minded people that share the same love and goals and you and all want to equally invest
into a final product that has the potential to change your life and the music industry, you'll have this
never-ending hunger to keep driving forward and make your shows and playing better and better
until you reach your goal. So, never give up no matter how hard things get. You'll make it in the end.
