Marty Haviik: Ok guys, thank you for making time for me. Your schedule seems to be tight
these days. Tell me a bit about your band, yourselves, instruments.
Erik Stupka (drummer): I've been playing drums since a kid, inspired by flashy 80's hair metal bands,
and as I got older, the theatric performances and heavy hitting beats of nu metal. Putting this all
together gives me my drumming style I've carried with me through varying bands. I'm currently
playing a TAMA Superstar kit wrapped in holographic purple sparkle and to match, also using Paiste
color sound series cymbals in purple.
Jamison Scott (lead guitarist): I've been
playing guitar since I was young. I work
every day on music and this band amongst
other projects. I currently play an Ernie Ball
Music Man Jason Richardson model and
use the Quad Cortex by Neural DSP for our
live sound.
Aidan Roberson (guitar): I have always had
a very deep love and passion for music. I've
always loved listening to all types and
genres of music. My parents saw this from a
young age, when they would see how much
I paid attention to music, whether it was in
video games or movie soundtracks. I first
picked up a guitar in 6th Grade after seeing
my schoolteacher play as a hobby. As soon
as I picked it up, I instantly became addicted
to it, as if it were a drug. I knew from that
moment that this is what I wanted to try and
do with my life.
Xander Mason (lead singer): I've been
performing as an actor and singer since fifth
grade. Always loved performance and
stories, so being a front man for a rock band
scratched every artistic itch I had. I'm also
not the most conventional performer, so
writing and performing original work allows
me to feel confident and not have to fit a
mold someone else wrote.
Aj Farrell (bass): I started playing music from
a young age but began on bass in my
freshman year of high school. I have a SUB
bass, with custom decals done by yours
truly. I was inspired to start playing in a band
the moment I first picked up a guitar and
played the most discordant note
imaginable.
