Welcome, 2023!

This issue of ION Indie Magazine ushers in a new
year. And what an edition we have to kick off

2023 with a bang! We are featuring the band
Kiki Plesha Brace Yourself (courtesy of Marty Haviik, ION’s

EDITOR-IN-CHIEF Managing Editor and Senior Photojournalist)
along with some very recognizable names in
music entertainment. Check it all out in these
pages!

But first, I want to thank everyone for their
patience and support as I took the time to
recover from my accident last September. Due
to my most unfortunate mishap, we made the
tough decision to skip our Nov/Dec 2022 issue.
Thus, this issue of ION will include that content
along with the new coverage slated for this
edition -- making this Jan/Feb 2023 issue one of
our most jam packed ever!

I am also announcing that ION will now be
calling Texas its home…yee haw! January 2023
has found me relocating to the Lone Star State,
a move that brings me closer to family.
