Solid music can be found all over the globe. Many
times, we are only exposed to artists from the
United States, Canada, and Great Britain,
however there are artists from all over the world
creating good music. Case in point -- Vaughn
Prangley out of South Africa. I will admit, South
Africa is not a country I would think of or look to
for new music. but Vaughn is just one of many
artists I have been discovering recently from
South Africa who is releasing stellar music. 18-
year-old Vaughn Prangley released the EP
“Where It Begins” in 2021 and followed that up
with the album “Destination Unknown” in 2022.
The Howie Combrink produced album earned a
nomination in the 2022 South African Music
Awards (SAMA) for “Best Produced Album of the
Year.” Vaughn was kind enough to take some
time to answer some questions about his young
career.
