Queensryche came on stage with a perfect opening set for the packed
metal crowd. The band opened up with one of my favorites, “Queen of
the Reich,” which was first recorded in 1981 for a demo tape by “The
Mob” later known as Queensryche. The band stayed to their earlier
material then turned to their heavier tunes “Screaming in Digital,” “Take
Hold of the Flame,” and “Operation Mindcrime.” This gave frontman Todd
LaTorre a chance to show how he can take these songs and breathe new
life into them and the show with his amazing voice.
