The band played many of my favorites including
“You’ve Got Another Thing Comin’,” The Green
Manalishi,” and “Breaking The Law” -- 18 songs
in all including two encore sets. I did turn around
a few times from the photo pit and saw 7,000 fans
headbanging, pumping their fists, and putting
their horns up in the air. Right before the final
encore, Rob Halford rode out on his motorcycle
and they begin to play “Hell Bent for Leather,”
with Rob singing the whole song seated on the
motorcycle. They then went right into right into
“Breaking the Law,” which has the fans singing
along and Ritchie, Rob, and Andy rocking side to
side at center stage. Towards the end of the
show, I was thinking I was getting tired because I
thought I saw a huge bull with illuminated red
eyes inflated on the stage while the band played
“Living After Midnight.” Sure enough, it was an
inflated bull with illuminated red eyes! The show
was thunderously loud and even though I sat at
the back of the area, my ears rang all the way
home.

50 years strong and Judas Priest can still deliver
the goods. Or should I say…gods?
