Up next is Eli Young Band. Their sonic blend of soulful country and Nashville roots
rock appeal to fans of pop and country music alike. The best of rock and the best
of country meets in the music of Eli Young Band, a Texas outfit that's had the
Nashville scene in a stir since their debut in 2002. Their set did keep things fresh
with a strong driving rock sound. I was really surprised at how the audience sang
along to almost every song they performed. It was apparent to me that they had
a strong fanbase in attendance. Both bands played close to 90 minutes each.

For whatever reason, I was thinking there was a third band. So, like a
knucklehead, I’m waiting while the venue cleared out. I then went out to the lobby
where Mark Mackay and band were also hanging out with some of the fans. All in
all, it was a genuinely refreshing and chilled evening hanging with these guys.
