Ryche: I’ve always been fit, eating, sleeping, and exercising, and taking the right supplementation
for optimal health, which I continue to this day and maintain to the best of my ability on tour. Having
the strength to perform and sing is 99% for me. During the pandemic, I never changed my daily
guitar practice and running songs. Mo flies in from North Carolina for rehearsals regularly, and we
have weekly Zoom meeting to see each other and talk about everything Nektar.

Randy: We are very concerned about COVID, both for ourselves going out into the world again, and
for our fans to have them sitting in a crowded theater all next to each other. The whole thing kinda
messes with your head.

Kendall: It was a real shock to come off the road (in March 2020) with a successful opening tour,
only to return home to news that the whole planet was shutting down for an undetermined amount
of time. We had built up some momentum, but then went into a holding pattern like everyone else
out there. It was hard to spend so much time away from my bandmates as I knew everyone was
itching to play together. I spent a lot of time over the last year working on orchestration and music
for film, which will no doubt surface when we start to collaborate on new material.

Mo: Somewhere around April, I called for us to go on tour by September as I thought that COVID
would be pretty much over by then. We booked the tour with Steve Ozark, who has done a fantastic
job. We added Kate Goldsmith to the team as publicist (another great add) and marched forward.
All of us are working hard putting it together. Jay Petsko has done an outstanding job with the new
DVD that is coming out with the re-release of the album. I have to say everyone is running on all
cylinders. It is tough after being off the road over 18 months, but we will prevail. I try to put COVID
on the back burner in my mind. I am not afraid of it; we are all pretty fit. However, it could be a factor,
so we have to keep our fingers crossed.
