ION Indie Magazine caught Staind at the Midland
Florida Amphitheater on August 7 . It was only the
th
second show of their Summer 2021 Tour, but when
the band took the stage to start their set with “Open
Up Your Eyes,” they were perfectly in sync.
Concert goers sang along to every word. The
20,000-seat amphitheater was quite full, with some
fans saying they bought tickets for that night’s
show after catching the premier the night before in
West Palm Beach, FL.

Lewis’s energy and vocals stayed strong
throughout the over an hour setlist. Their setlist
included all their greatest hits from the band’s first
album, titled “Tormented,” which released in 1996,
through their last album in 2011, which was self-
titled “Staind.”
