Staind fans have come to love and appreciate
Lewis’s vocal range through the years. Lewis can
scale from soft and melodic in songs like “Right
Here” and “Outside,” to a change in his scope
entirely in a song like “Paper Wings.” Including
such an assortment of songs in their set showed
fans that Staind showed up ready to rock.

Staind closed with “Mudshovel,” as Lewis let his
voice deepen to a roar, the crowd matched his
enthusiasm, screaming wildly as the band left the
stage. Though the next leg of the tour had to be
temporarily postponed due to touring mate
Jonathan Davis of the band Korn testing positive
for COVID, once Davis recovered, Staind and
Korn quickly re-scheduled all missed dates so
fans could rock with them once again -- in person
-- as one live nation.
